Have you ever dreamed of the day that somebody would come into your home and see how your child behaves and then assist you with the skills you need to cope with your unique discipline issues?

Monsters to Munchins is a tailor made parenting programme put together with the help of a parenting coach in the privacy of your home. It assists parents to regain the authority, control and respect they feel they have lost. A parenting coach comes to your home and discusses routine, diet, creative punishments and rewards and any discipline concerns you might have, helping to put parents on the same page!

The Monsters to Munchkin concept was birthed by Andalene Salvesen after many years of experienced gained from helping other parents as well as her own personal journey of bringing up her own 4 children.

She discovered that each child with his/her own
different personality and unique character traits respond differently
in each situation. What works for one does not necessarily work for the other.
She embarked on a journey to become a more effective parent with all
that it entails and was not only driven by her own needs to be
a better parent, but also by her passion to equip other struggling parents.
Her personal research, experience and years of teaching, culminated
in the developing of a parenting seminar called "Permission to Parent" to help others through the murky waters
of parenting.

After presenting the Parenting Workshop Seminars for 10 years, various parents who had attended began requesting personalised solutions for
their unique problems in the privacy of their own homes. As needs escalated, the concept of
“Monsters to Munchkins” was conceived.

Andalene owned and ran a parent and child workshop called "Mom and Me" for over 10 years as well as owned and ran a play school as  principal for over 8 years.
Andalene in conjunction with Hettie Brittz, co-authored the parenting course "Evergreen Parenting" (www.evergreenparenting.co.za) and is currently the proud grandmother of 6!
